Water Leaks & Burst Pipes

Water Leaks

Leaks are very difficult to detect, without the sound of running water or a water stain. A leaking pipe can cause your water usage to increase dramatically.

Finding the source of the problem accurately can save you time and money and should be attended to by an experienced plumber.

If you need help with detecting or locating a leak, we have the technology to find it - behind walls, under floorboards, or underground.

Burst Pipes

A leaking pipe can be quite noticeable with water spraying everywhere or there could be no evidence other than an increased water bill.

Symptoms could be:

  • Water damage on your wall
  • Green or damp patch in your yard
  • Large increase in your Water Bill

The easiest way to identify if you have a water leak is to ensure all taps and toilets are turned off. Go and read your water meter. If the dials on the meter are moving you have a leak.

If you suspect or know you have a burst pipe or leaking pipe give us a call and let us fix the problem for you.

Toilets & Taps

Do you have a blocked toilet, a toilet that won't flush or won't stop flushing, a leaking toilet or just need a new toilet. Whatever your toilet dilemma, Devine Plumbing can solve your problem.

A dripping tap can be annoying as well as a waste of water, and a waste of energy if it is a hot tap.

Leaking taps are often easy and inexpensive to repair and the money saved on the water bill will more than pay for the cost of repairing the tap.

Sewer & Drain Pipes

Clearing Block Drains - Utilising a Water Jetter

Clearing blocked drains of sand, grease and debris  can be a difficult task at times, but not with our high water pressure jetter unit, which will clear blocked drains sparkling clean and greatly reducing future blockages.

Clearing & Check for Blocked Sewers - Utilising Drain Cam Inspections

Tree roots’ growing into sewer lines is a common problem.  Roots crawl into tiny openings and expand in the sewer line, latching on to other debris that typically causes blocked drains. We specialise in the latest equipment to view the cause of the problem.

A Drain Camera looks like a snake and functions very similarly.  On the tip there is a small infrared camera that transmits a video feed of the interior of the pipe.  We can then view the camera footage and determine what the problem is and the best method of fixing it.  Best of all, the camera indicates exact depth and location of the problem minimising in the cost of excavation and labour  and allowing us to replace only the damaged piping.

Backflow Prevention

What is Backflow?

Backflow occurs when water flows opposite to its normal or intended direction and can occur when water pressure to a property is not maintained. Backflow can result in a public health risk if it allows pollutants or contaminations such as chemicals to enter the drinking water supply.

How is Backflow prevented?

Installing a backflow prevention device ensures that water from a property cannot be drawn back into the main drinking water supply. There are a number of different backflow prevention devices available. The type of device required will depend on the risk rating of the property with the potential hazard.

At Devine Plumbing, we can install and maintain backflow prevention device.
